CARD Mouse Reproductive Technology Workshop was held at CARD, Kumamoto University on September 7, 2016. The workshop was a part of the Sakura Exchange Program in Sciences which is the program for enhancing exchanges between Asia and Japan of the youths who will play a crucial role in the future field of science and technology through the close collaboration of industry-academia-government by facilitating short-term visits of competent Asian youths to Japan. In this project, students from University of the Philippines Los Baños, is the Philippine's National University, an acknowledged graduate, research and public service educational institution in the country and in the region, attended our workshop to lean basic theory and technique of mouse reproductive technology. Professor Naomi Nakagata and Dr. Toru Takeo organized the workshop and our students: Masafumi Noda, Kazuki Shirakado, Kenji Takemoto, Koharu Kirikihira, Chihiro Sugahara and Kana Tamura participated in the workshop as instructor. It was a very fruitful workshop to share the knowledge and experience of the latest techniques of mouse reproductive technology and have a good communication with young and talented Philippine and Japanese students.
