Professor Nakagata retired at Division of Reproductive Engineering and launched a next Project.4/14/2020 March 31, 2020: Professor Naomi Nakagata completed his 22-years career at Division of Reproductive Engineering in Center for Animal Resources and Development (CARD), Kumamoto University in Japan. He developed an excellent technique of mouse sperm cryopreservation called as "Nakagata Method". Using the technique, he developed CARD Mouse Bank System to efficiently archive and distribute genetically engineered mice. In addition, he organised hand-on workshops of mouse reproductive technology in Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Spain, France and USA. His achievements significantly impacted on the filed of mouse genetics. Recently, he published a paper about rat mouse sperm cryopreservation in Scientific Reports. He will continue his new project at Division of Reproductive Biotechnology and Innovation at CARD in Kumamoto University. His new journey is started to discover key to solving problems in reproductive technology.
