The CARD-IP Mouse Embryo and Sperm Cryopreservation Workshop was held at Institut Pasteur in Paris from 24 Oct to 28 Oct, 2016. Prof. Naomi Nakagata (CARD, Kumamoto University, Japan) and Dr. Jean Jaubert (Institute Pasteur, France) coorganized the workshop. CARD team and lecturers provided lectures and instructions about the latest reproductive and transgenic technology. Our students, Hidetaka Yoshimoto (Graduate student of doctral course, HIGO Program) and Ayumi Mukunoki (Graduate student of master course, HIGO Program) firstly joinned our workshop as lecturure and instructor. Twenty four students from 14 countries were participated in the course. It was a great opportunity to share the latest techniques and knowledge of mouse reproductive technology. During the workshop, our Institute (Institute of Research, Development and Analysis, Kumamoto University) signed an agreement of institutional cooperation with Institut Pasteur. The strategic agreement will be fruitful to achieve the mission to prevent and treat infectious diseases based on the research using genetically engineered mice. Lecturures:
