Professor Chang-Qing Yang (Vice Director of Department of Clinical Pharmacy, School of Basic Medicine and Clinical Pharmacy in China Pharmaceutical University, Nanjing, China) and his students visited Nakagata Lab on October 25 in 2017. This project is organized by Professor Tetsumi Irie (Department of Clinical Chemistry & Informatics, Faculty of Life Sciences, Kumamoto University, Kumamoto, Japan) a part of Sakura Exchange Program in Science (https://ssp.jst.go.jp/EN/index.html) which aims to enhance student-student interaction between Asia and Japan. In our lab, we explained our research about development of new reproductive technology and fertility medicine and a role of Center for Animal Resources and Development (CARD), Institute of Research, Development and Analysis, Kumamoto University as Mouse Resource Bank. In our lab, Prof. Yang and his students observed fertilized mouse oocytes produced by in vitro fertilization, the demonstration of motility analysis using mouse sperm by computer assisted sperm analyzer (operated by Kotono Ito, Undergraduate Student, School of Pharmacy, Kumamoto University) and facility of mouse bank system. It was fruitful opportunity to share our experience with hopeful and talented students from China Pharmaceutical University.
